Position Overview:

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating qualified leads/prospects and turning them into sales appointments. This can include, but is not limited to, proactive outbound telephone calls, in-person visits, follow-up messaging and emails to pre-qualify, information gathering and tradeshows. The goal is to help drive new customer acquisition. The Sales Executive will need to thrive well in small, fast-paced environments, have a passion for B2B marketing/sales, and possess a team spirit to help wherever possible to build engaging marketing and sales efforts.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Appointment Scheduling: Use multi-channel communication including telephone and in-person cold calls and email marketing outreach to set appointments
• Trade Show Marketing: Attend company-sponsored tradeshow events and use multi-channel communication efforts such as telephone and email outreach to build brand and product awareness and set on-site meetings
• Qualifying and Targeting Leads: Determine through communications and research whether leads are viable, and if so, target prospects, identify their pains, and illustrate the key benefits that our solutions can offer them. Provide detailed notes to Sales and Marketing to target the messaging
• Networking Events: Attend industry-specific and targeted networking events to build and develop brand and product awareness and develop relationships to build an effective pipeline of prospects
• Appointment Re-Scheduling: Follow-up with prospects to reschedule appointments as needed
• Nurturing Prospects: Follow-up with prospects to re-engage as needed
• Research and update contact database as needed
• Help as needed on marketing and sales projects

Job Qualifications & Competencies:

• Engaging telephone demeanor
• Experience in B2B telephone and in-person sales contact
• Track record of achieving and surpassing quotas
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to present concise information effectively and respond to questions
• Have familiarity with CRM’s. Hubspot Preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Skilled at identifying prospects consistent with pim’s core business values
• Good internet research skills
• Good social media skills
• At least 2+ years of sales/marketing experience in a B2B environment preferred
• Degree in business, communications, marketing, or health sciences preferred
